Greek-Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios won it all at theĀ Washington Open, sponsored by Citibank, on Sunday.

Kyrgios, playing in the final against Russia’s Daniil Medvedev, won with a score of 2-0, going 8-6 and 7-4, earning a second title for himself this season.

The Australian tennis star had qualified for the final of the Citi Open by beating Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas in Sunday’s semi-final, scoring 6-4, 3-6 and 9-7 sets against the young phenomenon, who currently sits at #5 in the ATP rankings.

This is the second major title to be won by Kyrgios this year, and his victory lifted him to number 27 in the world in the ATP rankings.

Kyrgios, who has a Greek father and a Malaysian mother, was born in Canberra, Australia in 1995.
