Diners at Popular Greek Restaurant in Perth Hit with Capsicum Spray

Australian police arrested a woman for spraying capsicum spray towards diners at a popular Greek restaurant in the western city of Perth on Saturday.

About 80 people were eating at Brika on Stirling Street when the bizarre incident happened around 9.30pm.

Police say the 39-year-old woman walked through the restaurant’s alfresco area and sprayed a can of capsicum spray at diners.

Australia’s 9 News reports that WA Liberal MP Dean Nalder was among the diners and tweeted about the incident.

“Strange event, someone ran through and sprayed chilli or something similar on to the backs of diners,” he tweeted.

“Everyone coughing and sneezing. Police and ambulance turned up, everyone appeared OK.”
