Let the celebrations begin! OMG week (Oh My Greek Week) returns to Melbourne this November with more great Greek treats presented by chef, TV personality, restaurateur and author George Calombaris as well as some of the most famous Greek chefs from around the world.
This is the second annual celebration of culinary delights of Greek cuisine and the Hellenic culture and communities from all around the world.
This year guests include Stelios Parliaros, from the famous pastry shop in Athens (and television cooking series with the same name) Sweet Alchemy, Maria Loi from Loi Estiatiro in New York, who is a popular television chef in Greece and the U.S. and also is the author of more than 36 cookbooks, and of course George Calobaris, founder of the acclaimed restaurant The Press Club in Melbourne. There are many other talented chefs participating as well, so check out the event’s website for more information.
Also singer Michaelis Hatzigiannis will be performing exclusively for the event.
