Greek-Cypriot Anna Polyviou has been nominated for Pastry Chef of the Year.

Anna has traveled the globe as a pastry chef and has now settled at the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney where she is known for funky and creative pastries at the hotel’s restaurant, Café Mix.

Also, the Melbourne restaurant Bahari has been nominated on the list of Best New Restaurants of the Year.

Chef and restaurateur Philip Vakos and friend Stell Kaponas are in charge of the creative restaurant which puts a modern-day spin on traditional Greek food.
