Catch an Award Winning Film at the Delphi Bank 23rd Greek Film Festival

blinds 23rd delphi greek film festivalThe Delphi Bank 23rd Greek Film Festival will be opening its doors where you can screen award-winning feature films and documentaries.

The event is to take place from October 12 -23 at Leichhardt’s Palace Norton Street Cinema and includes a diverse line-up from popular films such as Worlds Apart and The Lobster to documentaries for contemplation like A Life of its Own: The Truth about Medical Marijuana.

Tickets are on sale at www.greekfilmfestival.com.au, where you can also see the detailed program of special events and films at the festival.

The festival started back in 1988 and since has become one of the highlights of the Sydney art scene.

In a press release, Nia Karteris, the chairwoman of the festival said “We are extremely proud to present to our audiences the most exciting films and filmmakers from storytellers of Greek heritage. This year’s program is a rich tapestry of themes, perspectives and great stories to delight, excite, inform and ultimately entertain our Festival audiences. We’re also particularly thrilled about David Tsirekas from newly opened Greek restaurant 1821, agreeing to cater our opening night.”
