Greek-born striker Apostolos Giannou has been added to Australia’s team for the World Cup qualifiers against Tajikistan on March 23 and Jordan on March 28.
Ange Postecoglou, Socceroos‘ coach included Giannou and two other uncapped players among nine changes to the 23-man team. Socceroos won the matches with Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh last November.
Apostolos Giannou, who plays for Guangzhou R&F, is among the five China-based players selected in the team.
