Greek Singer John Tikis Visits the Elderly at ‘Fronditha Care’

john tikisGreek singer John Tikis performed last Saturday, March 7, at Ella Bar in Oakleigh, Victoria, offering his audience a night of quality entertainment. The popular artist remained unchanged and his brilliant voice was as impressive as ever.

“I came here, to sing in Melbourne, because my friend Costas Athanasiou insisted, and I really had fun. It was a wonderful evening and people appeared to have a great time,” he said.

The next day, Tikis visited the Fronditha Care facility in Clayton and the elderly were thrilled to see him. “We started singing and dancing while we were waiting for him,” said Marietta Chatzichristaki who organized the event at the care center.

After Tikis’ arrival, the festivities began. The elderly enjoyed themselves and were singing along to every song. “It’s always a great honor to welcome artists and offer people some moments of joy,” she added.

Tikis was impressed with the quality of service offered in the Greek-Australian Fronditha facilities. He sang, danced and took photos with the elderly. “I love helping out in any way I can and provide some relaxing moments to people in need,” said the artist. “The satisfaction of helping people is priceless and I recommend it to everyone,” he said shortly before leaving for Sydney.
