The Oldest Fan of a Greek-Australian Soccer Club

Kilo MoustridesThe most devoted supporter of the Greek-Australian soccer team West Adelaide Hellas is the Cypriot-Australian Kilo Moustrides.

Mrs. Moustrides is a 104-year-old great-great grandmother. She has been a fan of the team since she migrated from Cyprus some decades ago and most of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren have played for the Hellas juniors over the years.

On the occasion of her 104th birthday, Mrs Moustrides received a letter with greetings from the Queen and the political leadership of Australia. The most precious gift, however, was the one from her great-grandson, Jonathon Tsoulakis.

He gave her an honorary playing shirt of her favorite team, with the number 104 on the back. As Mrs. Moustrides said, “I’m going to have it framed and place it on the wall. It will sit perfectly, next to the letter from the Queen.”
