Suzi Dafnis: A Successful Greek Businesswoman

Suzi Dafnis is yet another Greek woman who excels abroad. She has been the CEO of the Australian Businesswomen’s Network since 1995 and has won the Entrepreneur of the Year award numerous times.

In 1994 she started her own business named Pow Pow Events, a seminar company that served over 250,000 Australians. After the company was sold, Daphnis became co-owner of a publishing company, which in 10 years has sold over 1.2 million books. In 2000 she expanded her business in the U.S. by founding an event company that presented events across the country. Since then, she has many times been declared a leading businesswoman in Australia. Her action focuses mainly on digital information and marketing. She also participates as a media commentator in television and other media.

Because of her innovative spirit, ideas and the fact that she started her career from scratch, she soon became the most successful and wealthy woman in Australia as well as earning her CEO of the successful and respectable Australian Businesswomen’s Network.

“I didn’t have any formal business training when I started my first business. Mentors have played a big part in my success. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping others find mentors, resources and the information they need to grow and learn,” she states. “My goal is to help women build, sustain and grow successful businesses,” she continues.
