The First Greek Community Dialogue in Melbourne

LaTrobe

The Centre for Dialogue of the La Trobe University in Australia, along with The Greek Studies of the University and the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria, co-organise a series of Greek community dialogues about current key-issues regarding the future shaping of Greek people in Australia.

The first dialogue, titled “The Greek Community in Transition – Intergenerational Views,” will take place on Thursday, December 12th, at 6:45 pm, at St. Michael’s Uniting Church, on 120 Collins St. This dialogue will study the issue of the intergenerational changes and how the Greek Community and its presence in Australia will be in 10, 15 and 20 years from now.

These dialogues not only  offer the opportunity for different points of views to be heard, but they also happen at a very crucial time for the Greek Community as it passes from the first to the second and third generation of Greek expats.
