Greek-Australian TV presenter Helen Kapalos is said to be named the host of the program Today Tonight onĀ Channel seven. Kapalos was recently dropped by channel Ten. She has received many offers for work both in Australia and abroad, but decided she wanted to stay at home on a popular channel.
Kapalos met Seven’s former boss of news and public affairs, Australian journalist, Ā Peter Meakin, after which it was reported he offered her the position. Former host Matt White is leaving the show but said he would remain at the station doing other work.
