Vasilis Skoulas Coming Back to Australia

During the commemorating anniversary of 40 years since its establishment, and as part of the Arcadia Festival 2012, the Pancretan Association of Melbourne announced that the famous Cretan lyre player and singer Vasilis Skoulas will come to perform after a 10-year absence. After first visiting Australia in 1986, he returned six times to entertain fans.

Accompanying him will be the great lute players Nikos Stratakis and Zaharias Mathioudakis. Skoulas and his band will make a performance at the Cretan Village in Melbourne on Nov. 10 and on Nov. 17 at a Cretan dance in Sidney. Also coming for the performances are accomplished singers and back-up performers to add to the entertainment.
