Greeks of Elwood will have the chance to entertain themselves in a boite-style climate. A series of small boite-style intimate music sessions from local award winning songwriters and musicians of the Greek diaspora will perform in May on Tuesdays at Cafe Babble on Babylon.
Anthea Sidiropoulos and Achilles Yiangoulli, along with Jacob Papadopoulos on solo bouzouki, will present some of the Greeks’ favorites songs of new wave times. Their program will be embellished with some of Greece’s greatest duets, including Marinella/Hatzi, Alexiou/Loizos, Melina/Hatzidakis, Mouskouri/Bellafonte and Bellou/Savvopoulos.
The show will take place from 7pm-9pm. Tickets cost $15 and you should book early, as it is expected to be sold out soon!
