Justine Frangouli-Argyris: “No Political Vilification Can Harm our Greekness”

The entire literary work of the journalist and author Justine Frangouli-Argyris, was presented during an event of the Festival “Antipodes” in the building of the Greek Community of Melbourne.

The visitors were informed of the author and her work through a detailed presentation by Professor Athanasios Spilias, who explained the positive effect of her profession as a journalist on the stories she shares with her books and “turns to excellent literary works”.

The talented author moved the audience, as she advised them not to forget their own debt to Greece. “No political vilification can harm our Greekness. We must preserve it and pass it on to our children and grandchildren. It is not just nostalgia, it’s the need for a fatherland.”

Justine Frangouli-Argyris noted she always keeps Greece inside her and she carries it with her as part of her very substance. The event commenced with a speech of the President of the Festival “Antipodes”, Leonidas Vlachakis, who explained that promoting spiritual works is one of the goals of the Festival.
