The federal government of Victoria has decided to support the Cypriot Community of Melbourne with the amount of $100,000 in order to celebrate the 80 years from its founding, announced the Greek-Australian Minister of Multicultural Affairs, Nikos Kotsiras.
The federal Minister was one of the guests of honor at the 18th Cultural Festival of the Greek Cypriot Community in Melbourne and Victoria.
During the most famous Wine Festival the visitors had the chance of enjoying Cypriot wine and delicacies prepared by the restless volunteers. The event was accompanied by music and dancing for all ages.
