The Greek Festival of Sydney will celebrate its 30 years on Sunday, February 26, having invited to its big glenti the prominent Greek singer and composer, Pantelis Thalassinos.

The concert of the Greek artist and his team is free of admission and will be hosted at Tumbalong Park.

“After the successful performance of Pantelis Thalassinos on Thursday at Enmore Theatre, which was applauded by more than 1,000 people, we have asked the Greek performer to visit Darling Harbour on Sunday, so that his songs can be heard by as many of our people as possible” commented the president of the Organizing Committee of the 2012 Festival, Mrs. Ourania Karteri.

According to Mrs. Karteri, it was a big delight for the organizers of the Festival that Thalassinos accepted their invitation and called on all members of the Community not to miss out on the unique concert.

Thalassinos, on his part, said he was very touched by the vast attendance of people who sang along to his songs and expressed his hopes for a second meeting with the Greek-Australian Community in a future glenti.
