The national Convention Exhibition of culinary samples-products and beverages came to an end. The ”Fine Food Australia” in Sydney was a great success. The trade event lasted from September 5 to September 8 and was open to members of industry.
The Cypriot participation was an initiative of the Cypriot Ministry to promote national products and improve Cypriot-Australian relationships.
The Convention Exhibition has occurred annually for the last 27 years and hosted more than 1000 exhibitors from Australia and other countries this year.
This year, 22 Cypriots participated in the Exhibition who specialize in producing and exporting traditional products such as haloumi, wines, sweet treats.
The Cypriot Community was represented by Marios Ioannou, who noted that he is delighted with the highly ranked products that Cyprus offers to the public and mostly, he is happy with the large amount of people who visited “Fine Food Australia”.
