Greek Festival of Sydney Presents “Nisos”

The 29th Greek Festival of Sydney in conjunction with Canterbury City Council proudly presents, for the first time at the Greek Festival of Sydney, the film “Nisos”. It will be shown outdoors under the moonlight.

The sell out success of “Nisos” during last year’s Greek Film Festival of Sydney makes it the ideal choice for the premiere screening of the Greek Festival Moonlight Cinema.

Nisos” is a film about scandalous affairs, unsolved crimes and hidden double lives. One small island can hold a lot of secrets. After the sudden death of the richest man on the island, all the secrets of the community are about to be revealed. With no one to inherit his estate he offers it to the four leaders of the village, the mayor, the police officer, the teacher and the priest.  However there’s just one catch.  To earn the prize they each have to read a letter to the public detailing their dirty little secrets

Gates open at 5.30 p.m.  “Nisos” starts at 7.00 p.m. or at sunset at Gough Whitlam Park, Bayview Ave Undercliffe
