The Greek Orthodox Community of Southern Australia celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2010. This coincides with the 5th annual Greek Cultural Festival Adelaide ODYSSEY. Olympic Hall will hold the festival.
Through the ODYSSEY, the Greek communities of Southern Australia will have the opportunity to get a “taste” of Hellenism through art exhibits, cinema, cultural events, representations, music, ecclesiastical tour, and explanations of deeper significance of Byzantine pictures. There will be a musical event featuring Greek musical greats. Subjects will include opera legend Maria Callas, which will be shown in the Conservatoire Elder of University of Adelaide.
