Arthur Sinodinos running for the Sydney seat of Wentworth

John Howard’s former chief of staff Greek Arthur Sinodinos has confirmed he’s considering running for the Sydney seat of Wentworth at this year’s federal election.
Mr. Sinodinos, a member of the party’s state executive, says he’ll make up his mind “pretty soon” about whether or not to nominate for Liberal preselection.
“Wentworth’s not a seat that can be taken for granted,” he told ABC Radio.
“It’s a pretty cosmopolitan seat, it has changed over time.
“It’s important that we select someone who can certainly maximise the vote.”
Mr Sinodinos said Mr Turnbull would be a hard act to follow.
But he insisted the Liberal Party remained favourite to hold the seat at this year’s poll.
“If I were to run it would be on the basis that the preselectors would make up their minds whether the fit was appropriate,” he said, adding he encouraged as many Liberals as possible to stand.
