A gripping sports documentary which follows four runners competing in a punishing 246-kilometre (152 mile) Greek road race will be screened next month in Melbourne.
The Road to Sparta features the stories of those preparing for the race, which begins in the Greek capital and ends in Sparta, home of the ancient Greek warrior society.
It follows the preparations of four runners, from seasoned veteran athletes to first-timers.
The documentary is sure to be a hit at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, in a city which has a significant Greek-Australian community.
The Road to Sparta will be screened at LOOP at 23 Meyers Place, Melbourne VIC, Australia on July 10 at 6.30 p.m.
