The Greek National Football team was welcomed warmly by the Greek expatriates of Australia, at the Sydney airport. The team will be in Australia to face the Australian team in two friendly matches in Sydney on June 4 and in Melbourne on June 7.
Several moments after the plane landed at Sydney Airport, the members of the Greek National Team were welcomed by dozens of fans of the team who were awaiting anxiously. About 60 fans of the team cheered and clapped and chanted for the team as soon as they saw Lazaros Christodoulopoulos coming out of the arrival gate of the airport.
The entire National team was accompanied by EPO’s chairman, Giorgos Girtzikis, while the team was welcome by Michael Skibbe’s assistant, Kostas Tsanas, who is already in Australia for several days now, in order to deal with the details of the team’s trip.
