Templestowe Aged Residential Care Facility “Storgi” celebrated its 10 years of operation and care for the elderly of the Greek-Australian community in a celebration held on May 13 on the facility premises to commemorate its anniversary.
The event took place in an emotional atmosphere, with all the attendees and speakers expressing their pride for the pious work and service offered by the “Storgi” staff, over the years.
The event was attended Fronditha Care president Sakis Zafiropoulos, the facilities benefactor Antonis Vitos, who is present in most events organized by the organization, as well as the director, Angela Cox, who has assumed duties nine months ago.
Furthermore, also present was the organization’s treasurer and board member Iakovos Fronistas, board members Nektarios Thodos and Pavlos Mavrouds, Greekmedia Group General Manager Spyros Alatsas, the Secretary of the Arcadian Association Vlaherna in Melbourne “Agia Vlaherna,” George Papachronis, as well as Greek-Australian writer Nicholas Piperis.
