Greek-Cypriot Australian Actress Ada Nicodemou Back Into the Spotlight

ada-nicodemouGreek Cypriot-born Australian actress Ada Nicodemou has made her first public appearance after losing her second child with husband Chrys Xipolitas to stillbirth.

The 37-year-old actress has been starring in the long-running Australian soap opera “Home and Away” since 2000, portraying Leah Patterson-Baker. She has reportedly returned on set stating that she is “doing well.”

Only a few weeks after the devastating tragedy hit the family, Nicodemou bravely decided to make her first public appearance at an event celebrating 225 years of Pears skincare products on Monday, September 22. She showed no sign of her recent heartbreak and even socialized during the event which took place at The Grounds of Alexandria, a garden venue in Sydney.

“What I personally love about Pears products is how they aim to bring more to the skin rather than just stripping it away. It leaves your skin softer and younger looking,” she said. “One piece of advice my mum always gave me was to always moisturize my body, including my hands. It’s simple but it’s very true. Pears is the most gentle.”

Nicodemou and Xipolitas got married in 2007 and had their first son, Johnas, in 2011, through IVF after trying for almost a year.
