Greek-Australian Maree Tsakiridis’ first solo art exhibition, Intuitive Flow, opened in Melbourne last night at Rising Local Artists Gallery. Tsakiridis’ paintings hide layers of intrigue, from fairies and owls to healings and star-filled crystal galaxies. Her paintings transport one to a beautifully lit world, full of fantasy and hope. GreekReporter.com’s Mary Boukouvalas spoke to Maree Tsakiridis about her artistic journey and vision.

Tsakiridis vision comes from within.  “Intuitive Flow”, she states, “is a unique collection of etheric paintings which show a light sense of beauty with a connection to nature and the cosmos. The detailed images in the paintings are created from my heart and intuition which are often sensed like a flow of energy while I’m creating the paintings. I have always enjoyed creating art and working with color energies.”

She continues: “Most of my inspiration comes from nature in this beautiful earth. I am also intuitively guided from my inner vision to create images of winged angels, fairies, etheric faces and birds. From here, I intend to persevere with creating visionary art and showing beauty to the world.”

The “Intuitive Flow” art exhibition runs until May 31, 2014t at Rising Local Artists Gallery, 277 Bridge Road, Richmond.
