A Greek Among Founders of Pensioners Party

seniorsGreek-Australian Kyriakos Koliadis, is one of the founders of “Seniors United NSW” that will take part in the elections of the largest Australian state, held within 2014.

“The state does not care about  pensioners, which constitute a large part of the population. We decided to found a party in order to promote our interests,” stated Koliadis.

Seniors United NSW aim to promote and safeguard the economic, social, political, and fundamental rights of senior citizens, over 55 years old, to monitor, and where necessary introduce, or to seek to amends to legislation to ensure that seniors citizens are not disadvantaged, exploited nor marginalized. The newly founded party’s target is to promote the interests and well-being of the seniors living in New South Wales including those who live in residential and retirement villages, and those living in care facilities.
