Greek Student Distinguished in Australia

sxoleio_australiaA Greek student who immigrated to Australia a year ago is already excelling in the field of Physics and her teachers believe that her future is bright, as is her potential of honoring Australia in the research field.

Gina Gachtidi is the name of the gifted Greek student of a secondary school in Melbourne, selected along with 28 others who are distinguished in the field of physics to take part in a conference on High Energy Physics, Particles and Fields — organized by the Centre Ariston for Particle Physics of the Australian Research Council, in cooperation with the International Group Projection of Particle Physics.

At the same time, the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott honored Greek Australian Karanikola Sophia, as one of the leading teachers of the year across Australia. Mrs Karanikola specializes in the field of dentistry at the University of Adelaide.
