A new political party will be officially presented on Saturday in Melbourne. The new party called Mutual Party, will have “centrist characteristics” and according to Mary Rigoni, one of its founders, its goal is to “bring people closer to politics. We want citizens to shape policy and to participate in decision-making.” she added.
The first endorsed Mutual Party candidate is the expat Stella Kariofyllidis who will claim the state seat of Brunswick in the next state elections in Victoria. Kariofyllidis has served as mayor in the City of Moreland in the past.
