The Greek participation in the exhibition organized by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board – HOPE in the International Exhibition FINE FOOD AUSTRALIA in Sydney, was completed. The Greek participation involved 12 Greek export businesses with Greek products such as olive oil, olives, cheese – dairy products, pasteli, halva, wine, ouzo, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, roe and others.
Their representatives stated that they are satisfied with the response of the Greek stand’s trade visitors, both for the number and the quality of the contacts. This confirms HOPE’s decision to include this exhibition in its program and to organize for once more the Greek participation in the exhibition, in a market which constitutes a major transit center for Oceania and for the beautiful Southeast Asian countries (China, Japan etc).
The Chairman and CEO of HEPO Alcibiades Kalambokis made some exploratory discussions on the conclusion of cooperation with major supermarket chains for the realization of the promotion of Greek products, while he visited a major import company of wines, of Greek interests, based in Sydney and they explored the possibility of the placement of more Greek labels in the new quality Greek restaurants.
