Missing Lambrini Possibly Alive

Missing_Person_LAMBRINI_ANDREOPOULOS-300x0New information brought to light by the Victoria Police brings hope that missing Greek Lambrini Andreopoulos who disappeared from Footscray, Melbourne 30 years ago at the age of 13, is now living in Melbourne by another name.

On June 20, the State Police announced that Lambrini has started a new life in Melbourne, but called the 43-year-old now woman to contact the police or Crime Stoppers Service and inform them whether she is alive and well, recognizing at the same time her right not to want any link to her past.

Lambrini disappeared on 25 March, 1978 while she was on her way to her school, the Footscray Girl’s School.

However, the case of Lambrini is not the only unsolved case of disappearance lingering for decades. A similar unsolved case is that of Janine Gwotzsick who disappeared 50 years ago,  and if she is still alive, is now 91 years old.
