Despite the winter and the bitter cold in Australia, especially at night, hundreds of businessmen and managers of large enterprises have decided to leave their luxury homes for a while and sleep on the streets, in sympathy for the countless of homeless in the country.
In addition, they have gathered a respectable amount of millions of dollars, which have been given to St Vincent de Paul charity group, which provides services to homeless people.
It is estimated that in Australia there are about 100,000 homeless people, half of whom unfortunately live on the streets.
In the campaign that has spread throughout Australia, several Greek-Australian entrepreneurs took part as well, gathering considerable amounts of money.
