One of the leading figures in Australian art, Barry Keldoulis, a well-known Greek-Australian gallerist, has been named CEO and group fairs director of Art Fairs Australia. Kerdoulis said he aims to organize major exhibitions of visual arts, with contemporary art, both in Australia and abroad.
Australian artists and experts said they believe that Keldoulis is an appropriate figure to showcase their talent and make them famous outside Australia.
Keldoulis takes up the reins from Francesca Valmorbida who laid the foundations for Sydney Contemporary, which launches in September.
