AHEPA Victoria along with the contribution of other Greek immigrants organized a successful dance at Star’s International in Melbourne on March 2, to support and reinforce the Kivotos Center.
About 400 Greek-Australians who were there to strengthen the effort, collected a considerable amount.
The Kivotos Center provides care for children living under extreme conditions of poverty and malnutrition without any medical care, without a future, the majority of them of single parent families, and many unfortunately, even without parents.
Spiros Robotis, President of AHEPA Victoria, told ANA-MPA that the total amount collected so far for Kivotos Center comes up at around $ 70,000.
