Tyrekidis Sets Weight Loss Record

tyrekidis 3 Greek-Australian, Iordanis Tyrekidis, 44, who lost 60 kilos, some 132 pounds, has set a record for shedding the most weight. He had reached 300 kilos, since his daily diet over the past ten years consisted of fast food, chips, pizzas, chocolates and soft drinks.

Last year Tyrekidis decided to make an effort to lose weight. Without liposuction or revolutionary diets, he sought help from dietitian-hypnotist Mark Stephens.

Within twelve weeks Tyrekidis lost 50 kilos, and aims at losing 120 more at the rate of ten kilos a month. His diet now includes chicken, fish, salad and yoghurt, while he has started working out on a six-day basis.
“I’ll do it,” he said, adding that as soon as he achieves his goals, he will start traveling around the world. He is planning to visit Crete a year from now.
