The Australian police pressed criminal charges against an 18 year-old man from Sydney for the murder of a 53 year- old Greek last month.
The defendant, whose name has not been published, is alleged to have entered Vasilis Gkogos’ house, on the central coast of New South Wales and wounded him mortally. The victim succumbed to his injuries a few hours later in the hospital.
According to the police, the offender tried to burgle the victim’s house, but Gkogos realized what was going on and was injured mortally. The defendant has been put in custody and the police do not rule out the possibility of more arrests for this crime.
