Theodoros Karaoglou, Macedonian Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, is going to visit Melbourne to attend celebrations and events in support of Macedonian issues.
The Minister will attend the Macedonian Glendi on Nov. 18, which brings together a 30,000 strong crowd of Greeks and Australians every year. The program also includes two lectures by Professor Bambiniotis. The lecture titled The language of our ancestors in a migratory environment: the case of the Greek language, will take place in the Hellenic Museum on Nov.22. The second lecture entitled The different dialects of Ancient Greek: the development of the Macedonian language, will be held at the Medical School of Melbourne University on No. 27.
The Macedonian Minister will not only attend the lectures but also some consultative functions, such as events run by the Pan Macedonian Association of Melbourne and Victoria and the Australian Hellenic Council.
