An exclusive night dedicated to the Greek traditional food and wines will be held at Nicholson Museum in Sydney. Friends of the Association of Australian Archaelogists of Athens Institute as well as the visitors to the museum will have the opportunity to try the creations of the well-known chef David Tsirekas.
Tsirekas is the executive chef of Xanthi Restaurant and Bar in Sydney and uses food and his expertise to take diners on a unique journey through the ancient world’s recipes and foods.
He makes traditional dishes from Greece, Sicily and Egypt each of them accompanied by a great Greek wine. The event will begin with talks on Oct. 15, and then the good part starts – eating Greek food and drinking good Greek wine.
