Alphington Grammar School Supports New Greek Students

The Melbourne-based Alphington Grammar School is showing its support and solidarity toward newly-arrived Greek students. According to school officials, Greek students that have recently arrived in Australia will have the opportunity to study at the Alphington Grammar School, paying lower tuition fees than the other students.

Business Manager Manuel Pappos and school Development Manager Judy Fetter collaborated with Alphington Chairman Nick Koukouvitakis and the President of the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria, Bill Papastergiadis, to organize the program to help the new students. This discount gives families of the students coming from Greece the chance to enroll their children in the renowned Alphington Grammar School, which has many courses that put emphasis on Greek heritage and culture.

Apart from the lower tuition fees, the School offers Greek families psychological and financial support, understanding that migrants face  problems upon their arrival at the host country. Greek families interested in this offer should complete an application form before they leave Greece.
