Greek-Australian 19, Stabbed to Death in Adelaide

ADELAIDE – Police are scouring closed circuit cameras and asking the public for help in finding the killer of Christopher Hatzis, 19, who was stabbed to death by an assailant after a fracas at a nightclub in the Light Square area. Police said he had been involved in a fight after he and his friend were tossed from the club.

Hatzis was stabbed in the street, on the eastern side of the square, about 2:20am (ACST) on Aug. 4 and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital but died a short time later, according to abc.net.

“Detectives are continuing a thorough scrutiny of the  CCTV club cameras and surrounding areas and are appealing to the public to identify people who were in the area at the time,” Major Crime Detective Inspector Mark Trenwith told news.com.au.
