Pantelis Thalassinos’ Concert in Melbourne a Big Success

Despite the hot weather and standing, Pantelis Thalassinos’ concert within the framework of the Antipodes Festival in Melbourne was characterized as a success story, since thousands of people enjoyed the live performance of the Greek singer.

Both in Sydney and in Melbourne the audiences sang along to Thalassinos’ songs, which covered his 30 year career in music. Thalassinos performed mostly his own songs but also included well-known songs of Hatzidakis, Markopoulos, Nikolaou and other Greek conductors.

The presence and performance of the Greek singer was positively received by Greek-Australians who attended his concert. The Greek singer was praised for his simplicity, for referring to the songs of other conductors, for introducing his team and creating a warm, friendly environment between his band and the audience.

“It might have taken some time to get here but I am thrilled that we finally meet” said Thalassinos during his concert in Australia, adding that distances can indeed be easily covered.
