The 40th Annual Conference at Cyprus Community of Melbourne VIC. was completed, and a resolution was passed concerning the Cypriot-Australian Community’s support to Greeks.
The resolution motivates Greek people to use only Greek and Cypriot products. The resolution will be sent to the Greek Prime Minister and the Greek Ambassador to Canberra.
Moreover, the chairman of the PanAustralian Justice for Cyprus Coordinating Committee (PASEKA) presented the Australian views concerning the Cypriot Problem, recognizing and praising the contribution of Hellenism abroad and of Greek media to the Cypriot Problem.
He also emphasized the potential plans for hydrocarbon and natural gas exploitation in Cyprus.
Finally, the resolution that was passed during the conference asked for the support of the Australian authorities concerning the resolution of the Cypriot Issue.
