Bomb Threat at Greek Consulate Building in Sydney CBD

A bomb threat forced mass evacuations from the Greek Consulate building in Sydney’s CBD.
A 38-year-old male and 32-year-old female burst into the foyer of the building on Castlereagh Street about 12.50pm and left a large box and petrol tin inside the premises.
A precautionary evacuation commenced and police rushed to the building to assist.
The item was later examined and declared safe.
The two protesters were charged with false representation resulting in a police investigation.
Both were granted conditional bail to appear in the Downing Centre Local Court on March 22.
Four other people were arrested at the scene.
They were released without charge pending further investigations.
