Murder of Greek-Australian Businessman Christos Saristavros Remains Unsolved

The ‘Sunday Age’ Newspaper reported on 200 murders in Victoria dating back to 1975, that remain unsolved up until now.

One of the unresolved murders concerns the Greek-Australian businessman Christos Saristavros.

Con Saristavros, whose millionaire brother, Christos, was shot dead in October 2000, said he used to receive weekly updates from police but has not heard anything about his brother’s case in years.

”A lot of promises were made about catching the killer, but more than 11 years on nothing has happened. No one’s looking, to be honest. When a gentleman like my brother goes to a charity function and is killed and then just about everyone forgets about it, it’s tough”, Con Saristavros told the ‘Sunday Age’.
