Charity Dinner With Cretan Delicacies!

Gourmet Traveller have teamed up with Melbourne’s Philhellene to present some of Melbourne’s finest Greek fare. Co-owner John Rerakis is as passionate about his culture as he is about his food. Dishes are cooked the way they have always been cooked – by traditional Cretan standards, and the result is magnificent home-style cooking that has tongues wagging.

The menu for the night includes classic dishes such as fava, kalitsounia, sheftalies, slow roasted kid goat with Cretan pilafi, village salad with Cretan barley rusks, and patouda for dessert.

Just to make this dinner that little bit more authentic, food will be matched with Lyrarakis wines imported directly from Heraklion, Crete.

This night is not to be missed!
