Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s top economic adviser, Stephen Koukoulas, is leaving the federal government after less than a year to return to the financial markets.
Stephen Koukoulas, of Greek origin, was the Managing Director at Toronto Dominion-Bank, London. He decided a few days ago to vacate and find a new position in the private sector. He leaves the Prime Minister during a crucial time, especially now that Gillard is eager to improve the relationship with the enterprise world.
