A racist comment was the reason why John Mangos lost his job. He made a remark about a Chinese man who won the lottery.
This issue provoked lots of negative reactions in the USA. Sky News CEO Angelos Frangopoulos, who is of Greek descent, was forced to tell him that his contract will not be renewed and he thanked him for all his years of cooperation.
John Mangos used to work for 30 years in Australian TV productions and he was the first Greek to work in Australian TV.
