The Greek Community of Melbourne will announce tomorrow the provision of one more million U.S. dollars for the construction of a multi-storey building in Melbourne’s center, which will also house the Greek cultural center.
The announcement will be made by the President of the community Basilis Papastergiadis, at a special event at Philellene restaurant.
It is estimated that the construction of the building will start in 2012 and its cost will be up to 12 million dollars. The state government of Victoria has already offered two million dollars to the Greek Cultural Center.
