Popular Greek singer Nikos Vertis is touring Australia for three shows only in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
Born in Holland, Vertis has been playing the bouzouki since he was seven and began singing at the age of 15 in small music halls in Thessaloniki and other regions of Macedonia. In 2003, his popularity rose with successful performances at Rodon music hall. In February of that year he released his first album, Poli Apotoma Vradiazei, and the singles off this album became huge hits.
He is undoubtedly one of the most talented singers to come out of the Greek music scene. Elefthiria Eleftheriou will be supporting Vertis on his national tour.
