The 17th Greek Film Festival is set to arrive in Melbourne as part of a national tour on October 13.
The Festival program features a variety of Greek films, many of which are making their Australian premieres following successful screenings at festivals around the world.
This year’s program will feature an eclectic line-up of Greek Cinema including the light-hearted feature film Nisos as well as zombie flicks Evil and its sequel Evil in the Time of Heroes, both directed by Yorgos Noussias and feature a memorable cameo by Billy Zane.
The full program will be announced in September and will include a number of feature films and documentaries.
The Festival will run from October 13 until October 31 in Melbourne with all films screening at Palace Cinemas Como in South Yarra.
The Festival will also visit Adelaide from October 7 until October 10, Sydney from October 14 until October 31 and Brisbane from October 29 until October 31.
