Robert de Niro in Melbourne for his new film

The Greek road of Melbourne was given a taste of Hollywood today as actor Robert De Niro filmed scenes from his new movie ‘The Killer Elite’.

The Academy Award winner kept a low profile standing outside the Melbourne’s Princes Theatre, before entering a cafe where a small part of the film was shot.There were plenty of extras and vintage cars on hand for the action thriller.

Melbourne’s architecture and laneway streets provide the perfect backdrop for the film’s international storyline.
